ดล วรรณกนก เริ่มเล่นดนตรีเครื่องเเรกคือเปียโน ก่อนจะเปลี่ยนเครื่องมือเอกมาเป็นไวโอลิน ดลได้เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมทางดนตรีทั้งในประเทศไทยเเละในต่างประเทศ ตั้งเเต่การเล่นในวงขนาดเล็กไป วงขนาดใหญ่ มาสเตอร์คลาส เเละการเเข่งขัน โดยเขาได้เล่นกับวงดนตรีในไทย เเละในสหราชอณาจักร อาทิ SRCO Junior Chamber Orchestra, Wells Cathedral School Training Symphony Orchestra เขายังได้รับรางวัล Silver Prize Award ในการเเข่งขัง Yamaha Thailand Music Festival เมื่อปี 2014 ประเภท Violin Solo With Piano (รุ่นอายุ 12-15ปี)

 

ปัจจุบันนี้ดลเป็นนักศึกษาปริญญาตรีชั้นปีที่ 2 ที่สถาบันดนตรีกัลยาณิวัฒนา​ เครื่องมือเอกไวโอลิน โดยมีอาจารย์ Margaret Hayne Kim เป็นผู้สอน เเละเป็นสมาชิกวงดุริยางค์เยาวชนสถาบันดนตรีกัลยาณิวัฒนา

A Thai violinist, born in 2001, Seattle, the United States. Music has always been his passion since he was young. His first instrument is the violin. He was a student of Mr. Alessandro Capello, Mr. Edward Burns, and currently studying with Ms. Margaret Hayne Kim. Moreover, he also has Mr. Jamorn Supapol, Mr. Yosapon Kunavipakorn, and Ms. Sophia Mckett as a piano teacher for his second instrument.

 

Dole has always participated in music activities in Thailand and overseas varying from masterclasses, chamber music, orchestras and music competition. He had masterclasses with Maestro Pietro Capello, Maestro George Perez and recently with Maestro Rhys Watkins. He has experience playing in various orchestras in Thailand and in the United Kingdom. He played with SRCO Junior Chamber Orchestra, Wells Cathedral School Training Symphony Orchestra, and he is currently a member of the Princess Galyani Vadhana Institute of Music Youth Orchestra since 2020. He received Silver Prize Award in a Yamaha Thailand Music Festival 2014 Violin Solo with Piano (age 12-15).

 

At the present, Dole is a second-year student at Princess Galyani Vadhana Institute of Music pursuing his professional musician and a music lecturer. As a musician, he believes that music can serve people and our society at large.
